Bubble Gum Book
In UF's graphic design program, I was assigned to create a book about a single artifact. Given its fun and playful aesthetic, I chose bubble gum. I designed a 30-page zine including information about the history of gum, marketing behind the popular candy, and how it's made.

I created a series of illustrations with a vibrant color palette that alludes to the upbeat and light-hearted nature of chewing a piece of bubble gum.
The Layout
I created a layout of pages that allowed for the reader to easily follow the content, starting with the history of chewing gum and ending with gum across cultures.
The Zine
I printed each double-page spread on card stock and assembled the book using double-sided tape.
