hey there!
I'm Olivia. Here's a bit about me.
Anyone who meets me can tell right off the bat that (1) I’m pretty outgoing and (2) my roots are in New York (I have a hint of an accent). I place a lot of value in the relationships I’ve fostered with others. Positivity, gratitude, and meditation are all big parts of my everyday life and I enjoy finding beauty in my day-to-day life.
Since I was young, I always found joy in making things. Whether it be writing and illustrating my own book or sculpting a tinfoil bird from leftovers, I’ve always had an urge to create. Now, at the start of my professional career, that same desire has grown with me over the years. The youthful and playful desire I had as a child has carried over into my work, leading to exuberant illustrations and designs (I love a vibrant color palette!).
Having developed an interest in branding, I’ve gained experience over the past few years by developing the brand identities of companies and organizations, such as A Prom To Remember and Gator Vex Robotics. I am motivated by my goal to constantly improve my craft, looking for new ways to develop my skill set technically and professionally. I use the Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, to create dynamic logos and brand material for freelance projects. I take pride in the fact that the work I design is intentional; I follow my projects with a critical eye, making artistic decisions that hold purpose. I use research as a starting point, learning about how the company is perceived by its clients and employees. I choose the aspects of a visual system so they are purposefully representative of what the company represents.
As an artist and human being, I am motivated by my inner circle of connections. I view the world through an optimist’s lens and pride myself off having a positive outlook and drive to always be better.
My name is Olivia. It’s a pleasure to meet you!
